17.A supplement for small schools, as described in the ministry`s personnel requirement guidelines, will continue to be allocated to each campus within a college, provided that enrolments are in accordance with the guidelines and the allocation of a supplement for small schools. The recruitment agreement is a formal labour agreement between the union and the employer. The Department is required to consult with the Federation: Federation representatives should ensure that, when used to describe the requirements of a vacancy, staff codes are those that are essential to the position. During the previous agreement, the ministry identified eight (8) schools that will have specialized staffing agreements. The Department reminds headteachers every six months to ensure that staff procedures in staff schools for the annual staff cycle are followed. If the head of the school finds that a class teacher position must be filled on an indeterminate basis, the principal will advise teacher recruitment on the requirements of the position through staff codes. A multi-campus college is considered an ordinary serf school and, as such, receives, as such, its regular financial endowments, overall budget allocations, staffing and other relevant endowments, as described in these procedures.
Teachers should ensure that the personnel codes they have listed are correct and that they contain all the skills and/or experience codes to which they are entitled. The school`s planned staff for the following year is based on expected enrolments and other program positions. These are published annually in August so that the school can plan for the following year, fill likely vacancies or, if necessary, reduce their installation. The ministry`s teacher qualifications describe calculated applications for teacher assignments for all types of NSW public schools, including primary, secondary, central, community and PNSP schools. 2.2 Temporary occupancy of permanent positions is controlled as part of the “personal” component of the school plan. Under section 16 of the staff contract, a school may use funds to place additional permanent positions above the right to school staff.
